Among the 29 stamps issued in 2013, the competition's 3,631 participants have chosen the "Mushrooms of Luxembourg" self-adhesive stamp as the most beautiful stamp of 2013. It was designed by François Besch with the help of the HIPSTAMATIC application, using the iPhone's integrated camera to take photographs, to which various filters were applied.
The second and third prizes were awarded to the "Tiger" stamp by Timo Wuerz (D) and the two-stamp E European Value series "Moselle Valley" by Serge Weis (L).
