Presentation of the stamp „15 years of Fondation EME”
On 6 July 2024, POST Philately attended the Fondation EME participatory anniversary concert ‘All Zesummen’ at Kinnekswiss, which was attended by HRH the Hereditary Grand Duke and HRH the Hereditary Grand Duchess, as well as numerous personalities from the political and civil sectors. On this occasion, a souvenir frame containing the stamp issued to mark the 15th anniversary of the Fondation EME was presented by Ms Isabelle Faber, Directrice Ressources humaines, Relations publiques et RSE at POST Luxembourg, to Ms Dominique Hansen, President of the Fondation EME, in the presence of Mr Claude Balthasar, Chef du service Patrimoine & POST Philately, and Ms Myriam Schmit, the artist who designed the commemorative stamp.
Founded in 2009 on the initiative of the Philharmonie Luxembourg, the Fondation EME promotes inclusion and access to music by organising a wide range of cultural activities, including concerts in care homes and music workshops for people with special needs, and by offering concert tickets to refugees.
