Presentation of the stamp ‘Summer Olympics in Paris’
On Friday 28 June 2024, POST Philately was invited to the official presentation of the Luxembourg Olympic delegation by the Comité Olympique et Sportif Luxembourgeois (COSL). On this occasion, a souvenir frame was presented by Mr Claude Balthasar, Chef du service Patrimoine & POST Philately, to Mr André Hoffmann, President of the COSL.
POST Philately has already issued more than ten stamps to mark the Olympic Games. This year's stamp was designed by Sandra Lieners. She chose to highlight breakdance, a new discipline that will make its appearance at this 33rd edition of the Olympic Games, which will take place from 26 July to 11 August 2024 in Paris.
