On September 20th, the National Library hosted a ceremony for the presentation of the commemorative stamp marking the 100th anniversary of Jean-Pierre Kemmer. The ceremony was honoured by the presence of director Claude D. Conter, as well as representatives of the Bibliothèque nationale, Mrs Kemmer (one of the composer's daughters), several members of the FSPL and the Comité philatélique. Sylvano Vidale, whose agency designed the stamp, was also in attendance, along with Emile Espen and Claude Balthasar from POST Philately.
At the National Library, a small exhibition depicting the life of the composer is currently open to the public and can be visited in the reading room.
