On 16 December 2024, a souvenir frame containing the
stamp commemorating the 125th birthday of Luxembourg painter Jean-Pierre Beckius was presented at the Villa Vauban by Gaston Bohnenberger, Director of POST Technologies, to family members of the artist.
Jean-Pierre Beckius’ style is strongly influenced by Impressionism, although some of his works also show naturalist and realist influences. He is best known for his views of the Moselle, his native region.
