Description
The theme of this year’s Sepac issue is ‘Tourist attractions’. The Pfaffenthal district lies 60 metres below Ville Haute in the Alzette valley, and has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage buffer zone since 1994. It is the oldest part of Luxembourg City, offering spectacular views over part of the old fortifications, the old town and the Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge. Since 2016, a panoramic lift has linked the Pfaffenthal to the Fondation Pescatore park in Ville Haute.
