From November 8th to 9th the hall 9 at LuxExpo The Box was the setting for the Multilaterale Briefmarkenausstellung Luxemburg 2019. This tier 1 exhibition is organized every two years in another member country of the group of philatelic federations in the German-speaking countries. The exhibitors and the visitors were unanimous in their appreciation that the exhibition and all that surrounded the event were perfectly well organized. In 2021 The exhibition will be held in Austria. PALMARÈS

In the latest EUROPA set - Domestic birds, POST has issued on 7th May 2019 two stamps with an augmented reality function. The two stamps show the common linnet and the yellowhammer. To hear their birdsong, you just need to download the free Cee app and scan the stamp. The stamps are available in all the post offices, Espaces POST, Philatelic counter Cloche d’Or and the eShop www.postphilately.lu.

The members of the PostEurop Stamps and Philately Working Group met in Luxembourg for their 2nd meeting of the current year. This on the invitation of Emile Espen, Head of Post Philately and Vice-Chairman of the working group. The participants from 10 different countries had to evacuate a busy agenda. Throughout the day 04 May the interested parties came to the espace POST of Luxembourg Center to obtain a philatelic souvenir of Grand Duke Jean. The maxima postcard and the souvenir envelope are on sale in the e-shop and philatelic counter until stocks are exhausted.
