It was with great pleasure that Claude Strasser, Director general of POST Luxembourg and Hjoerdis Stahl, Deputy Director general , were able to welcome the people present at the official presentation of the stamps issued on April 1, 2019. This pleasant ceremony which consists in the delivery a souvenir frame to the beneficiaries of a stamp is a great way to celebrate the completion of the various projects. The presence of the representatives of the various organizations also shows how much this gesture is appreciated. Received a souvenir frame: Mrs. Lucienne Thommes, Director, for the Cancer Foundation, Mr. Yves Marchi, Assistant Commissioner, for Lëtzebuerger Guiden a Scouten, Mrs. Eliane Fuchs, President, for the Protestant Church, Mr. Dan Biancalana, Mayor of Dudelange , for the stamp "Dominique Lang" and Mrs. Cécile Adam for the Publications Office of the European Union.

Emile Espen, Head of POST Philately, had the pleasure of presenting the 6th volume of the series "Dat ass Lëtzebuerg!" at the stand Binsfeld publications. This time entitled "In the Land of Roses". In order to thank symbolically two major supports in the realization of the book, namely the Rousefrënn and Patrimoine Roses, he handed to Mrs. Mireille Steil, President of Rousefrënn, and to Mr. Stein, Member of the Patrimoine Roses Committee, each time a volume of freshly released book.

As part opening ceremony of the "Superjhemp" exhibition at the Belle Etoile, Emile Espen, Head of the Philatelic Department of POST Luxembourg, had the pleasure to hand over a souvenir frame with the special stamps for the film to the producer and director of Samsa Film, Claude Waringo. Present were also the film director Félix Koch, the father of "Superjhemp" Lucien Czuga and Mrs Myriam Schmit of the Cactus Management. Incidentally, this is the first time that the Luxembourg postal administration has dedicated a stamp to such an event.

We are saddened by the news of the death of Jacques Doppée on 21 October 2018. For two decades, Jacques Doppée has created a large number of postage stamps for the Luxembourg Post. His talent and enthusiasm made the creation of each stamp a great adventure. We will never forget him.

Director Valérie Ballouhey-Dauphin had the pleasure of presenting the "Prevention of breast cancer" stamp to the Europa Donna Luxembourg association as part of an exhibition of painted works in the Trifolion's foyer in Echternach. Mariette Fischbach, President of Europa Donna Luxembourg, and Daniela Pfaltz thanked POST Luxembourg for issuing the stamp, which made the association's outreach work very visible.

On September 24th, Director general Claude Strasser presented at POST's headquarters the souvenir frame of the "50 Joer Mouvement Ecologique" stamp to Blanche Weber, President of Mouvement Ecologique, and representatives of the organization.
