As every year POST Philately presents itself at the Springbreak, the former Spring Fair. On March 7, the special stamp "25 years of death of Josy Barthel" was officially presented. Organized jointly by the Philatelic Circle of Mamer and POST Philately the ceremony was a vibrant tribute to the great sportsman, sports official and politician that was Josy Barthel. Remembrance frames were given to the two daughters of Josy Barthel, as well as to representatives of sports organizations and the Ministère des Sports @ photo : POST Luxembourg

On March 12, the souvenir sheets “100 years Fatima apparitions”, which had been issued commonly by the Posts of Portugal. Luxembourg, Poland and Slovakia has been presented to the public. The place chosen for this ceremony was the basilica of Fatima. A musical program embellished the event.

In the framework of the events for its 125 anniversary the private school Fieldgen has organized with the help of collectors an exhibition of old postcards showing the area of the Central Station where the school is located. POST launched on Monday 19 December the traditional Christmas 2016 cancellation mark at the PostMusée. The artist Lydie Develter, creator of the Christmas stamps, was on place to give dedications. Later in the day and in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Etienne Schneider, the Director of POST Technologies, Mr. Gaston Bohnenberger had the pleasure to officially hand over the stamps issued in the "Cars of yesteryear-3 " series to the owners of the cars represented on the stamps.

The weekend July 16th and 17th the traditional gathering of Comic-book friends took place in Contern. Again thousands of visitors took a look at the numerous booths. POST Philately was again as every year present with a booth proposing personnalised stamps and postcards, which are edited every year especially for that occasion.
