On Thursday December 3, in the presence of the artist Gery Oth, Jos Glodt, Deputy Director General, officially handed over the stamps “Toys of yesteryear” to Nathalie Biever-Leruth, museum manager "A Possen". On the same occasion an exhibition with works by the artist Jacques Schneider, creator of the 2015 Christmas stamps, was inaugurated.

The POST Philately Team was present on weekend of November 21-22, at the Walfer Bicherdeeg. The 3rd volume of the “Dat ass Lëtzebuerg!” series was presented. This volume illustrates with stamps the 15 years of reign of Grand-Duke Henri. Mrs Maggy Nagel, minister of culture, and Mr Guy Arendt, mayor of Walferdange, showed deep interest in the explanations Mr Emile Espen, head of POST Philately, gave about the new book.

Roger Weber, 1st alderman of the municipality of Schengen. The ceremony took place in the Schengen Museum.

Night of the Stamp 2015

It was during the Night of the Stamp last Friday, October 23, that POST Philately presented its 2016 issuance program to an interested audience. Claude Strasser, director general, explained the long process of making a stamp and that POST was building on the diversity of the subjects for its 2016 program. Maggy Nagel, minister of culture, was present and voiced her support to philately. A souvenir for the most beautitul stamp of 2014 was handed over to the graphic-designer Michel Geimer and Jean-Paul Reuland, both from the Binsfeld communication agency. Joëlle Müller (RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg) presented the programm of the evening.
